Cookies Policy

Effective October 6, 2025

1. Overview

Qaxa uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, secure your sessions, and measure basic anonymous usage patterns.

We do not use cookies for advertising, profiling, or third-party tracking.

2. What Cookies Are

Cookies and similar technologies (like local storage) are small data files saved by your browser when you visit a website. They help a site remember your preferences and ensure it functions properly.

3. How Qaxa Uses Cookies

We keep cookie use minimal and essential. Qaxa uses:

  • Essential cookies – required for login, authentication, and account security.
Without these, Qaxa would not function.
  • Preference cookies – remember interface settings (e.g., theme, language).
  • Anonymous functional analytics cookies (self-hosted) – generated by our self-hosted analytics tools to understand how Qaxa is used in aggregate. These analytics cookies are configured so that we cannot identify individual users or combine analytics data with account information.

We do not use:

  • Advertising or marketing cookies
  • Cross-site tracking cookies
  • Third-party analytics (such as Google Analytics)

4. Managing Cookies

You can control or delete cookies in your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

  • View and delete stored cookies
  • Block cookies from specific sites
  • Set notifications before new cookies are saved

Be aware that blocking essential cookies may prevent Qaxa from functioning properly (e.g., logging in).

5. Legal Basis

For users in the European Union, essential cookies are used based on legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)), as they are required to provide the service.

Anonymous analytics cookies are used based on legitimate interest in improving service performance and reliability.

Because we do not use any marketing or tracking cookies, explicit cookie consent banners are generally not required under EU and Czech law.

6. Updates

We may update this Cookies Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available at qaxa.com/cookies.
