No. Qaxa is designed so we cannot access your room contents or recover them for you. Your data is encrypted before it leaves your device. That protects your privacy—but it also means you must keep your password and recovery details safe. Read Why We Don’t Have a “Forgot Password” Button for more.
We keep only the minimum data needed to run the service, protect accounts, and prevent abuse. We do not log the contents of your messages, files, or notes. Your room stays encrypted.
An attacker would not get readable room content from our servers. Qaxa stores ciphertext, not plaintext, and encryption happens before data leaves your device. A breach would still be serious, but the exposed data would not be useful in readable form.
Yes. Our client code is open source, so anyone can inspect how encryption works before data leaves the device. Sensitive software should be verifiable—not built on blind trust. Read our Security Model page to learn more.
Yes. Qaxa supports Bitcoin for annual payments. We also support standard card payments for subscriptions.
We aim to respond within one business day. Response times may vary by issue type and volume, but we prioritize security-related matters.
